S*Sjöliden's Queen Terra, NFO n(s) 02 (21)
Terra was a goddess in Roman mythology. She also used to be called Tellus Mater or Terra Mater, both of which mean Mother Earth in Latin, the language of the Romans. This divinity which was born of Chaos gave rise in turn to Tartarus, the underworld, to Uranus, the sky, and to Pontos, the sea. Originally Terra signified the sowing field, then earth as opposed to heaven or earth as begetting and nourishing. As the goddess of the earth, Terra was invoked along with the manes.
